What Talura honestly doesn't (yet) do
  • Per-call filter rules for Telegram / SMS / Slack — currently filters apply only to dashboard and email; other channels are global on/off.
  • Customer self-hosting bundle — currently bespoke / on request, no standard package.
  • Inbound email / ticket auto-reply — we're a phone-/chat-only platform.
  • Multi-agent handoff (Sales→Support→Billing during a call) — one agent per call.

If Talura doesn't know something, it says so honestly and notes a callback request. No guessing, no hallucinating, no made-up prices.
Doesn't replace experts.
No doctor, no lawyer, no master craftsman. Talura handles routine — appointments, hours, transfers, standard questions. Not advice, not diagnosis.
Doesn't do cold calls.
Talura answers calls. Outbound calls, marketing calls, unsolicited contact are not part of the product.
Doesn't keep data longer than needed.
You set the retention period. Calls and transcripts are auto-deleted after expiry. DPA on request.

02Do I have to switch my telephony provider?+

No. Talura works with your existing SIP provider (e.g. Sipgate, Deutsche Telekom, Placetel). We configure forwarding so only the calls you actually want to hand off go to Talura.

03What does "your own API keys" mean?+

For the AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Groq, etc.) and voices (ElevenLabs, Cartesia, etc.) you have your own accounts and pay providers directly. Talura does not subsidize API costs — never, for anyone. Upside: you stay in full cost control, no lock-in. If OpenAI drops prices 30 % tomorrow, you benefit directly. 04What about data protection?+

Hosted in Germany. Calls are stored encrypted and auto-deleted after your chosen retention period. DPA (Auftragsverarbeitung / data processing agreement) on request. Self-hosting on your own infrastructure is possible (Enterprise plan).

05What happens when the AI can't answer a question?+

Talura says so honestly and notes the callback request. You get a summary by email or directly in your CRM. No guessing, no making things up.

06Who is behind Talura?+
