TL;DR

QRForge does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data. The extension runs entirely locally in your Chrome browser. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no remote servers contacted for any operational reason.

Data QRForge processes locally

QRForge stores data only in Chrome's local storage (chrome.storage.local) on your device. This may include your preferences (e.g. language, UI options) and results/content you produce while using the extension. All of it stays on your device and is accessible only to QRForge. You can clear it anytime by removing the extension or clearing its storage in chrome://extensions.

Data QRForge does NOT collect or transmit

No analytics, no telemetry, no usage statistics.
No crash reports are sent automatically.
No personal identifiers, browser fingerprints, or IP logs.
No user content is uploaded anywhere.
No third-party SDKs, trackers, or ad networks are integrated.

Permissions — why they are needed

activeTab — Access the tab you explicitly activate the extension on — only on your click, never in the background.
storage — Save your preferences and results in Chrome's local storage on your device.

External links

QRForge does not call any external server. Inside the UI there are outbound links to third-party sites, which are only opened when you click them:

lern-digital.de — the developer's site with more Chrome extensions.
talura.app — another product by the same developer.
ko-fi.com — optional donation link.

When you click one of these links, the respective site receives a standard HTTP request from your browser. QRForge itself transmits nothing.

Children

QRForge is not directed at children under 13. The extension does not collect any data at all, so compliance with children's privacy laws is inherent.

Changes to this policy

Any change will be published on this page with an updated date. If the change is substantive, the extension version will be bumped.
